Das Zimmer

In the exhibition Mädchen* sein?! at Lentos Kunstmuseum, Das Zimmer is an open space for thinking, chilling, reading and being active, developed in exchange with young people. Different groups of teenies occupy the space and repeatedly transform it throughout the course of the exhibition.
Statements and reflections by teenagers were written on cardboard pieces. These cardboards can be activated as “pop-up footnotes” to the exhibition: participants place them beneath artworks of their choice as comments, inviting new perspectives on the art on display.
